Art East Anglia provide courses in Norfolk. Our courses explore subjects such as portrait painting, printmaking, Plein Air landscape and drawing. We host art classes, short painting courses and workshops.

Terms and Conditions for the use of this website and booking courses at ‘Art East Anglia’
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, they contain important information about your rights and obligations.
Introduction
These terms and conditions govern all use of the website situated at www.arteanglia.com (the “Website”) and all courses run by Art East Anglia (“our”, “we” or us”). By accessing our Website or booking a Course you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions as they may be modified and posted on our Website from time to time. We hope that these are acceptable to you but if they are not then you should not book a Course or use our Website for any purpose.
Booking a Course
Places on Courses are allocated on a first to pay first served basis. In the event that the Course of your choice is fully booked you will be informed and if requested could be placed on a waiting or reserve list.
We encourage attendees to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the commencement of your course. This will allow you time to familiarise yourself with the amenities. Meet the tutor and your fellow participants and enjoy a coffee or tea.
We will endeavor to supply the teacher advertised for any Course but reserve the right to change the teacher, timing or content of any course due to the unavailability of any teacher for any Course at any time.
Please pay particular attention to the details of each Course prior to booking. If you have a disability/additional support needs please contact us before booking as aspects of some Courses may be unsuitable due to the nature of the locations. Please ensure that you provide us with full details of any specific requirements that you may have and again we will endeavor to accommodate you.
We do not accept enrollments from anyone under 16 years of age.
Fees, refunds and cancellations.
All amounts payable must be received five weeks before the commencement of the Course. Your place on the Course is not confirmation of a place and we have no obligation to provide a place until full payment is received.
The Course fees do not include any materials (Unless otherwise stated), and artists attending the courses must bring their own, subject to the material lists .
Fees can be paid by electronic transfer, through this website using PayPal or by cheque.
Any payment method must accompany a completed booking form (electronically or via post). Please make all cheques payable to ‘Art East Anglia’. Balance payments including cheques must be received at least five weeks before the commencement of the Course.
I reserve the right to cancel the course if insufficient bookings are received, I (representative of Art East Anglia) will inform you of this at the earliest opportunity and in this event the monies will be refundable in full. We reserve the right to cancel any Course at any time. All Courses have a minimum attendance level and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received.
Please note Art East Anglia cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the performance or fullment of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances amounting to “force majeur” .
Circumstances amounting to force majeur include any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even if all due care, foresee or avoid such as war, or threat of war, civil strife, riot, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, sickness, bad weather and acts of any government or public authority and all similar events which are beyond our control.
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover you course fee, in the event that you cannot attend the course.
Cancellation by you.
Please note:
All Cancellations must be made in writing via post or email. If cancellation is received less than 5 weeks before the start of the course, your deposit will be forfeited. I regret I cannot make refunds for bookings which you cancel after the final balance has been paid. 'Art East Anglia' is liable only for any monies you have paid to us at the time of cancellation. We will not be responsible for any advance costs you may have incurred e.g. travel or accommodation.
Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of £30.
Any student who wishes to cancel for whatever reason, will be liable to a cancellation fee. Deposits are non refundable and non transferable.
Friends and family may attend in your place for any Course providing we have been given 24hrs notice before the Course commences. You will need to provide us with the names and contact details of anyone attending in your place.
In the event of an illness (or family illness) preventing your attendance, we may, in our sole and absolute discretion, vary our cancellation policy and we may ask for documentary evidence in order to make this decision.
Courses bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy.
Any Courses purchased at a discount are subject to the same terms and conditions and will be refunded to a maximum of the price paid.
Conduct
If we in our sole and absolute discretion consider that you have behaved in an unacceptable manner then we reserve the right to require you to leave the course/event immediately. All students are expected to conduct themselves in a reasonable manner and in accordance with our rules and regulations and to recognize that other students also require support and assistance.
The venues we use operate a No smoking policy.
There is ample off road parking on site for all attendees of our courses. using the parking is at your own risk.
Liability
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You are advised not to bring any items of special value. We will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.
We will not be liable for any loss encountered by you resulting from any course or event which is beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of God, wars, riots, civil commotions, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rules, regulations or directions, accidents, breakdowns of plant or machinery, fires, floods, extreme weather , pandemics, epidemics or other outbreaks of disease or infection, or failure in the supply of electricity, heating, lighting or telecommunications equipment.
Health and Safety
Students are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to practical Courses. This is referred to under the details for each Course. Health and safety is covered as an essential part of the Course introduction. Students who fail to comply with health and safety rules will be unable to participate in practical Courses and may be asked to leave the Course immediately.
Data Protection/Intellectual Property
We will only use the personal information you give us to: help us provide Courses or to inform you about similar Courses unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. We will not pass your data to third parties.
All rights title and interest in any copyright that is created in any works by you whilst on a Course will vest in you upon creation but you hereby grant a licence of such copyright and the right to use such works and further your name and image in any photograph taken by us or on our behalf or supplied by you to us for advertising purposes including without limitation on our website and in our brochures.
The contents of our Website are protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. We are the owner or the duly authorised licensee of such copyright and all intellectual property rights in the mark “Art East Anglia”. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute by any means or in any manner any material or information on or downloaded from our Website without our permission.
General
We reserve the right to make changes to or suspend any aspect of our Website or Courses from time to time.
We make no representations whatsoever about any other websites which you may access through our Website or which may link to our Website. When you access any other website you understand that it is independent from us and that we have no control over the content or availability of that website. In addition, a link to any other website does not mean that we endorse or accept any responsibility for the content, or the use of such a website. We (Art East Anglia) shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by such link/website.
You agree to indemnify us in relation to any complaint or action taken against us by any third party as the result of your behaviour or actions whilst attending at a course or for any statements made or images posted on any site on the internet at any time. You further give your consent to the removal by us at any time and in our discretion of any content posted by you on our Website or any website or part of a website that is controlled by us and undertake to remove any posts made by you or material posted by you from any website immediately upon request by us without having to give a reason for such request.
